Those of you who are fans of TV show, 'Revenge' will recognise this face, probably instantly. Ashley plays Ashley Davenport on the hit show, and is always impeccably dressed on screen. This is also true of her real life looks, as she writes her own fashion blog 'Ring My Bell'. I have not seen her wear something I hate yet, and that really does say something about her style!

Saturday Style Inspiration: Emma Stone

I am in LOVE with this girl. like, genuinely girl-crushing. She can be dressed up, or down, on the red carpet or just grabbing coffee, and she always looks flawless. Her skin is totally enviable, and I definitely need to know her skincare secret.

Looking for pictures, I realised that she has changed her hair colour and style so many times, but I didn't find one I didn't like or that didn't suit her. For a hair coward like me, this is brave! The most adventurous thing I've ever done was grow out my fringe and get a dip-dye, so I don't really think adventurous is even the right word to use.

She also just seems like such a genuinely nice girl. Emma, can we be best friends please? I'll have my people call your people.

Saturday Style inspiration: Blake Lively

Todays Stylish Celeb is Blake Lively. I have loved her since I got hooked on Gossip Girl (About a month before my A levels. Watched 2 series' in about 3 weeks. I will forever blame it for my results!) She has amazing hair, and her style is just so spot on every time!
Sorry its a short one today. Between Uni work, and actually going to work, I am totally swamped. Just to prepare you all there probably won't be one next week or the week after (Don't be too gutted!) as I have so much to do, but after that, I will be off for 4 whole months. Yay!

Saturday Style Inspiration: Lauren Conrad

This weeks style inspiration is Lauren Conrad. She started her famous life as a reality TV star and now is well known and respected in the fashion industry. I used to watch the hills as avidly as I now watch Made in Chelsea, but I was so hooked on Lauren's life, mainly because she started as an intern at Teen Vogue and I would definitely give an arm and a leg to be able to do that.

Her style is so simple. She can do casual perfectly, and her red carpet looks are often TO DIE FOR! I especially love the red dress in the last picture, so chic and gorgeous. I would be lying if I didn't say she was part of the reason I dip-dyed my hair, and often try to make it go wavy like hers (and definitely always fail.)

I often stalk LC on pinterest, and constantly repin from her boards. Her life seems so perfectly organised and I'm a major scatterbrain so I could probably learn a thing or two from her.

BAFTAs 2013 Best Dressed

Last night saw the BAFTAs roll around again, and as usual I couldn't tell you who won any awards, but I could tell you what most of the girls were wearing. My favourite look of the entire night has to be Anne Hathaway's amazingly simple, studded Burberry gown. It is the perfect shape on her and goes very well with her new cropped haircut.
Also, bravery award of the night goes to SJP. She has received a lot of negativity over last nights outfit choice, but I loved it, especially how understated it was comparing to her usual outfit choices. Jumpsuits are definitely an underrated outfit choice, and need to be worn on the red carpet more often, I find them to be a lot classier than some dresses.
Special mention to Juno Temple's fabulous fur coat. It was disgustingly cold in London last night when I was leaving, so it was a good choice for keeping warm!

Style inspiration: Angela Scanlon

I'm one of those people who could quite happily spend their life sitting on Google  with a cup of tea looking at pictures of people who inspire me. Angela Scanlon is a big inspiration to me style-wise, and i'll admit I had never heard of her until very recently, but now I'm a little (Not creepily) obsessed with her. I just love how laid back her style is, and how she manages to look so effortlessly put together all the time. I hate wearing jeans, because I always feel I look scruffy, but she manages to look so dressed up while wearing them, I am jealous!

I also love how much her personality seems to shine through in pictures and in her blog posts, she seems exactly like the kind of girl I'd love to be friends with, (and shes Irish so that makes her amazing obviously!)

I've spent the last three hours watching her on old Xposé videos. (I need to get back to Ireland to watch that  again soon!) and now I'm massively coveting her hair colour! Can I just be her?

Silly silly Elle.

I am a self-confessed magazine addict, with Elle being my absolute favourite, and My future dream workplace.
However, right now as much as I love it, I have to admit how utterly stupid they have been, due to comments made in French Elle leading to a race row.

column praised black people for their new trend of dressing smartly, adding that in Obama's America "chic" has become a "plausible option" for a community until now stuck to "street wear". and this isn't the first time that French Elle has been the centre of such scandals, A few years ago, they blacked up white model Lara Stone for a shoot  and it caused an outrage that they were genuinely surprised at.

They are also surprised at this outcry, and the editor has apologised that the piece has been 'misinterpreted'.

Personally, I fully agree with the outcry, and I feel that there are some amazing fashion icons who are black, Michelle Obama being the most famous and high-profile.

I am against this sort of thing being published and allowed through in major fashion magazines, but I certainly hope that Elle survives yet another backlash against it.
