I love a bit of leather, and apparently the whole of fashion does too at the moment because it is a massive trend. I have a few leather pieces in my own wardrobe, One leather jacket I adore, a leather skater dress and a black dress with leather panelling.
I remember being about 11 years old when leather was a big thing on the high street before, and my older sister and I begged for new clothes for Christmas when our aunty bought me a gorgeous leather skirt, which I still remember I loved more because it had hot pink lining! And my sister got a pair of leather trousers. I remember her wearing those a LOT, and now that its back in style I'm certainly loving it all over again, so I have gone through the high street and designer websites and found my key pieces that I think every girl should have in her wardrobe this season.
1. Peplum Dress - £29.99 H&M
I've said it before and I'll say it again, probably about 100 times, I love peplums. This dress grabs two huge trends and puts them together, and its under £30. Whats not to love?
2. Leather Biker trousers - £295 All Saints
Okay so these come with a pretty hefty price tag, but they are gorgeous, and the fit is really flattering. Although its hard to tell they're also a really nice plum shade so they are an upgrade on all the black leather. I honestly think they are an investment piece, and totally worth the price tag.
3. Contrast Mac - £85 River Island
Macs are the sort of coat that come in every year and are completely timeless, but sometime they can look so boring, because they've all been done before. This one however has a nice little upgrade on the leather sleeves, making it anything but boring, and yet the colour still makes it neutral and classic.
4. Red and Black top- £16.99 SheInside.com
Yes I know, another peplum, but this is such a nice top with the contrasting colours and the sheer sleeves, its really unusual, and within probably every ones budget. I hadn't ever heard of this website before I went looking for leather pieces, but its a really nice site with a few cute pieces.
5. Black Bag- £95 Topshop
No girls wardrobe is complete without a classic black bag, and this one from topshop is no exception. Its real leather so that's a bonus and I really like the subtle detailing.

Weekly Wishlist #2
Well, that week went by very quickly! I lost track of time and didn't post at all! apologies for that, and hello to all my new followers I believe I've gained three of you since I was last here.
1. Warehouse Dress - £55
There is nothing I don't love about this dress, I love the Colour and the pattern, but I definitely am in love with the shape, as I just think it would be flattering on pretty much everyone.
2. Topshop Holdall -£42
I think this is such a unique bag, and I honestly don't think I've ever seen anything like it before. I might treat myself to it so I can use it for trips home, having nice luggage really helps me deal with stressful airports.
3. Topshop Top -£40
This is a bit different from the things I usually buy, but I like the embellishment on this top and I just think it would really well with a nice pair of skinny Jeans and my favourite Zara Blazer.
4. Leather Skirt - Various prices
This leather skirt is from ebay, and I love leather skirts at the moment, but what I love most about this one is the simple studded waistband and also the lovely shape. And of course, Black goes with everything, right?

Weekly Wishlist #1
1. Peplum top- £14.99 H&M. As I said above, I have bought this and I love it, its flattering, comfortable, and it makes me feel like Lana Del Rey, simply because she wore it in the advert.
2. Fur collar Coat- £85.00 River Island. I love this coat, I shouldn't, but I do. I tried it on and fell in love more, but then read the price tag and backed away slowly. and sadly. I think I actually had to wipe away a tear from my eye.
3. Lace Playsuit- £60 Topshop. I think this playsuit is really simple, and I need it in my life. Preferably now please.
4. Ring- £100 Pandora. I have wanted a Pandora ring for ages. I'm not a massive fan of the bracelets, but I do love the rings, and this is my ultimate favourite. A girl can dream.

Bargain Hunting
Lately I was meant to be saving up for university, but I find it impossible not to buy things. I have ZERO willpower.
However, I have been good lately, and going for bargains! The first bargain I got my hands on were these gorgeous L K Bennett pumps, to which you are probably thinking, "How are L K Bennett shoes a bargain?!" but let me let you in on this secret, I got these in an outlet store!
So yes, they are last season stock but they are gorgeous, and I got them for £20, when they were originally £75! this particular outlet store is located in The Outlet Village in Banbridge, (which also boasts a very good Oasis discount store!) and had so many gorgeous bags reduced very low so it took a lot of effort to only walk out with a pair of shoes.
The next item is a bargain purely because it is a dupe of the most beautiful Zara bag ever, that every blogger I follow has been lusting after! When I was in Zara a few weeks ago I saw one discarded and it had no pricetag, I fell in love and took it to the till only to be told it was £59.99!!! I had to have a sit down after that! But then a week ago I mentioned to my friend who works in Primark who told me they had copies for only £6.99. I had to make a little trip to town straight away then because I needed it so much! I think I'll remove the tassel though, and possibly the strap.
Finally, an actual bargain which was found in my local British Heart Foundation shop and cost a measly £10.99. best bargain yet. I do want to remove the sleeves though because they are a bit puffy when they are on, but it fits me perfectly otherwise.

A match made in hair heaven
I love a good beauty product, but Im definitely not big into 'Hair care Products'. I'm not really sure why, I've just never really focused too much attention on them, and have just used whatever is at hand in the shower when washing it, as well as applying some basic heat protection before drying or styling, but lately I've noticed that my hair is quite dry and damaged, and I have a lot of split ends, so I decided it was time to look into different conditioning treatments.
The first product I noticed that has made such an amazing difference to my hair, and it was completely by accident, was VO5 nourish me truly shampoo and conditioner. I got this last September from my mum, when I went to uni in a box full of "Essentials" (That came in so useful!) but I didn't use it until April, because I had others to use first.
Now, for a 500ml bottle these cost £3.59 each in boots, which I feel is a bit pricey, but Mum got them for £1 each in Pound land. Good old pound shops! however, They are worth it, and I will definitely have to buy them again!
There isn't an amazing smell to rave about or anything, but the shampoo and conditioner have definitely improved my hair since I started using them.
After I had been using these for a while I decided to look for a leave in treatment for my hair, and I cam across the Tresemme "Split Remedy" leave in treatment. Just apply a little bit to the ends of your hair straight after washing, and that's it! I have been using this about three weeks and I can definitely notice a massive difference to my hair's health.
I would definitely recommend both these products, and although they aren't made to be used together, they have the perfect complementary qualities that have done wonders for my hair.

On Saturday, my big sister graduated from drama school, and became a qualified actress. I kept promising her I'll blog about her, so I decided the best present would be a feature on my blog!
Congratulations Aveen, and to all my readers, you should prepare to see her on a screen or stage near you soon! take a note of that face and remember where you saw her first! we had such an amazing day and weekend, and spent most of it in a daze of champagne and wine, and it was generally just a nice, relaxing weekend. Now I just need to work hard and get my own degree.

What I've been Buying
Shoes: Dune |
Skirt: Urban Outfitters Collar: Topshop Top: Primark (Old) |
Last Tuesday I had a well-deserved day off, so I packed up my new wages, grabbed my best friend and went for a shopping day out in Belfast! It was so good to be able to spend money again, but I fear I may have gone overboard.
Here's everything I bought, most of it not in the sale, although I do have more sale bargains to show you all from yesterday, when I went shopping with Mum. (yesterday was also a good day because I finally had my braces off. but more on that later!)
These shoes were one of those "I love them, I need them now!!" purchases, I wasn't going to be deterred that one is maybe a teensy tiny bit too big...... oh well!
The skirt was nearly one that got away, but was spotted by my friend when we were leaving! so Glad she saw it now, its comfy, fits perfectly and matches everything!
