When Fashion Dreams Come True

Anyone that knows me well, knows that I am always lusting after designer clothes, but the main thing that has always been top of my wishlist, is a Pair of Red-soled beauties.

So imagine my happiness, when my sister, who will be winning all the sister of the year awards, tells me she has granted my fashion wishes and bought me a pair of Louboutins. I don't think she could be a better sister really!

I'm totally in love with them, even though I haven't physically seen them yet, as they're in London with my sister, but I cannot wait to get my hands on them and style them up! Expect a few cheeky outfit posts featuring them over the Christmas period.

London Calling!

So as I mentioned previously, I spent the weekend in London, first attending a fashion Journalism workshop, but then meeting up with my sister who lives there and spending a few days with her.

Friday night consisted mainly of eating junk food, while watching the Help, which is SUCH a cute film, and getting an early night before our busy day on Saturday!

On Saturday we headed for the V&A museum, to see the costume exhibition that they have on at the moment. It is such an interesting exhibition, with many timeless and classic pieces as well as pieces from recent films, (Including Twilight which we found a bit strange) and each piece has quotes from the director, the designer or the actor who wore it. There are also video interviews with many of the designers and really good bits of information that I never realised. I unfortunately have no photos as the V&A don't allow photos, not good for bloggers! But I fully recommend the exhibit, and you still have plenty of time to go, it runs until the 27th January. Also Student tickets are only £9 and I think they are totally worth the money just to see Audrey Hepburn's 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' dress up close.

Before heading to the exhibition we went for a little wander down the street, took a look at all the gorgeous houses in Kensington, and discovered the cutest bakery ever. It was decorated like a french Patisserie, and it had the most amazing hot chocolate I've ever had. It was better than Starbucks and if I lived in London I would need to have it everyday!

Enjoying the best hot chocolates ever!
After the exhibit we headed towards Harrods! and on the way passed my favourite shop ever which I had to resist even going into!

After a spot of shopping we went for dinner in Sloane square (We really really want to be posh London socialites!) and then we headed back towards Victoria to go and see a musical.

My sister works at St. James' theatre and at the moment there is a new musical playing called 'Daddy Long Legs,' which she hadn't seen yet, so we decided that we would go together. I loved it. It only has two cast members and it really is such a romantic story, I cannot recommend it enough. Afterwards we had a glass of wine, and headed home, and then just spent Sunday in bed watching films, before I had to be put back on the train to Sunderland Kicking and Screaming.

I cannot wait to live in London!

Graduation Fashion!

Black dress: bought at a local boutique

My Dress: Oasis
My shoes: Topshop
Aveen's Shoes: Dune
Cap and Gown Optional!

On Saturday, my big sister graduated from drama school, and became a qualified actress. I kept promising her I'll blog about her, so I decided the best present would be a feature on my blog!
Congratulations Aveen, and to all my readers, you should prepare to see her on a screen or stage near you soon! take a note of that face and remember where you saw her first! we had such an amazing day and weekend, and spent most of it in a daze of champagne and wine, and it was generally just a nice, relaxing weekend. Now I just need to work hard and get my own degree.

Black and White.

Jacket-Zara
Scarf-Primark
Jeans Primark
Jewellery- Thomas Sabo, Citizen, Cath Kidston,
H&M, Accessorize.

Wore this today, to meet my cousin for lunch, rolled up the sleeves on the jacket to make it slightly less dressy.

Love this jacket, I saw a Stella McCartney version about a year ago and have been on the hunt for a student-budget-friendly version ever since! Thanks to my mum, as she found this Zara beauty and got it for my birthday.

This is the Primark version of the Alexander McQueen scarf that everyone and the gran seems to have now. They also appear to be selling one in every colour of the rainbow, but you can't beat the good old Black and White.

Still feel strange just posing in front of the camera. Feel so awkward! Trying to get used to it soon!

Happy Easter! OOTD

Dress: Religion
Blazer: H&M
Bag: Next
Shoes:Oasis
Jewellery: Argento,H&M,Citizen.

Happy Easter everyone! Hope everyone had a nice day and got lots of easter eggs! I went to a hotel with my family for dinner and took these pictures outside it because it was gorgeous. I would've got more but it started to rain, the Joys of Irish weather!!!

I got this dress in religion on Brick Lane when I went to London last weekend, and had to have it! I wish that I had taken these shoes home with me to wear with it instead of the brogues I am wearing but that's one of the issues of Student Life and airline baggage allowances!
Got my hair cut yesterday too, and although its not VERY short, I feel like I've cut it all off because it had finally got so long! It grows quickly enough though, so hopefully it will be back to what it was soon enough!

What Santa brought....

So Santa came and went, wrapping paper was ripped open and discarded, and the turkey is just a pile of bones now. Christmas is truly over! Boo! I love Christmas as you may have guessed by the sheer amount of Christmas posts! Haha! Anyway I thought I'd post a few pics of what I got for Christmas as I know many people are very interested in these kind of posts, myself included!!

So these are all of my santa presents including an absolutely amazing pair of French connection gloves!!! Exactly what I was looking for! And an Elle subscription from my amazing sister! Best present ever!

This dress was also a gift from the big man! It's from primark though if you like it. I love it and it's exactly my style!!

Got this French manicure kit from my aunt an I have been looking one for Ages! Will use it tomorrow during boring old boxing day (yawn!) in prep for going out tomorrow night and then I'll write a review in a few days. But I have high hopes!

Also got a charm for my charm bracelet. It's a Thomas sabo one that I got back in April for my 18th birthday! I love this little charm, it's very cute!!

very grateful for all I got this Christmas, and very thankful for my family and friends. hope you all had an amazing Christmas.
