So today is officially the best day of the month..... PAYDAY!
Sorry if it isn't payday for you and I've depressed you, but after almost a year of having no job, it is my first payday from my new job, which is incredibly exciting as I finally have money. So what do I do? Shop of course.
Here are three of the things I want to buy most this month.
Shakespeare tee- Tee & Cake @ Topshop
I am such a nerd, that I fell in love with this tshirt the moment I saw it. Need in my life.
Colourblock sandals- H&M
These are everything I usually hate in a shoe, but I love them for some reason!
Peplum top- Topshop
Peplums are MASSIVE this season, if you don't already own one, buy one now!!
Happy Spending!

High street collaborations continue.
It seems to me, that H&M are unable to stop thinking up ways to get me to love them more! After falling in love first with their Versace collection, then their Marni collaboration, they announced two more collections at the beginning of this month that made me so excited, I barely made it through the month!
I first heard the exciting news that Anna Dello russo, the brains behind Japanese vogue, was desinging an accessories collection for the brand. Anna is known for her wacky sense of style, and over the top fashion sense, and Personally I can't wait to inject a bit of this into my own wardrobe.
Of the collection, Anna said :"This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion, and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it. I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find. As a stylist I know accessorization is essential: it is the personal touch to any outfit. With these pieces everybody can have fun, turning an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day!"
This collection launches October 4th, and I can't wait to get in line!
Just as I was recovering from this news, The High Street brand dropped another fashion bombshell on us. A collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela! Eeeeek!

For those of you unfamiliar with Maison Martin Margiela, it is a French Fashion house, which describes itself as: "iconoclast, avant-garde and experimental, the Maison expresses its creativity through recycling, transformation and reinterpretation - like an emotion, a unique and timeless proposal defying all laws and rules."
This collection launches on November 15 in 230 stores worldwide, as well as online.
I need to start saving.
And go for a lie down, all this fashion excitement has affected me slightly!

Rainy Summer Days
Coat: Miss SelfridgeDress: Local BoutiqueBelt: Topshop (old)Shoes: New LookOh dear, I've been a very absent blogger recently haven't I?I got home from uni about two weeks ago, and since then life has been hectic. Started a new summer job on Wednesday and I'm working full time so between that and visiting friends I haven't seen in a while, I wasn't really left much time for blogging!I got this coat on Saturday, FINALLY! I seen it about three months ago in my local Miss Selfridge, and was waiting until I got paid until I bought it, but Then they didn't have it in Sunderland or Newcastle, and I couldn't find it online so I had resigned myself to not owning it until I spotted it at the weekend. Fate!I have had this dress about a year and half now and I love it, and I pull it out when I don't know what to wear. wore it to work today, and I've had a complete wardrobe overhaul so that I could get stuff that is 'Office Appropriate' to wear for work. Feel very grown up all of a sudden!
I'm going to apologise for the shape of these pictures, I have no tripod and no photographer, so lots of background needs cropped!

A little Help.
I need to ask all my followers and readers for a little help, I'm trying to make myself work harder on my blog, and so spent today trying to get my head around redesigning.
After spending two full hours on a new layout, I decided I like the plain and simple layout I have best, but liked my new header, and now can't decide whether to keep the header or to move to my new one, so I have made a screenshot of the two side by side, and would like you to help me pick!
I would really appreciate your comments!

During the talk she outlined how she started out at ballet school, before deciding that a career in ballet wasn't what she wanted, as it was "too much hard work and not enough time for boys!" She then applied to art school, and for those of you also in this position do not give up hope, it took her two attempts at applying, so just keep at it!
The first magazine she worked at was 'Harper's Bazaar' which was then called 'Harper's Queen', and from here she told us about all the people she knows in the industry, people whose work I greatly admire such as Mario Testino, David Bailey and Anna Wintour, and how life on fashion magazines isn't always as glamorous as it seems! (She told us that we shouldn't even think about having friends or a social life during fashion weeks!)
She told us about how she didn't really want to take the job at Marie Claire, but that "Jobs are like boyfriends, the less you want them, the more they want you!" and so she took her career to Marie Claire, where she worked for eighteen years, before freelancing at the Telegraph and The Times.
Throughout the talk she was funny, and charmed us the entire audience, who hung on her every word. She graced us with many anecdotes about her career, including one where Manolo Blahnik wore a pair of stiletto's because: "If you girl's have to suffer for my art then I should too!"
She has released 'The Style Book' and is currently working on a second book 'The Pattern Book'. It is available to buy in several countries, including The UK, Spain, France, America and Japan.
This was such a fabulous talk from such an inspirational fashion legend. we also had the chance to feel like VIP's with our very own 'Reserved' Seats and free Jubilee style cupcakes, courtesy of The Great British Cupcakery! I could get used to these freebies!
